AAUW Educational Foundation (EF)

We're changing the world . . . one woman at a time!

The AAUW Education Foundation provides funds to advance education, research, and self-development for women and to foster equity and positive societal change. The foundation has helped more than 6,300 women reach their personal and professional goals through a variety of fellowships and grants. They are:

The Eleanor Roosevelt Teacher Fellowships to women public school teachers designed to promote gender equity.

Career Development Grants for women who are in early stages of graduate studies in order to re-enter the work force, change careers, or advance their current careers.

Community Action Grants provide seed money for programs for non-degree research projects that promote education and equity for women and girls.

International Fellowships to non-U.S. citizens who do graduate or post-graduate study or research in the States in areas of importance to their country of origin.

American Fellowships support doctoral and postdoctoral study.
